Giclée ( "zhee-clay") is the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. While there is a big long history on the name, it has since come to mean any high quality ink-jet print and is often used in galleries and print shops to denote such prints.
So you're probably asking, why do I care what Giclée is? Well... if you like canvas portraits, you already know what we're talking about.
Canvas Portraits transform your favorite pictures into textured, fine-art quality masterpieces. I am addicted to canvas right now. Canvas portraits have fully wrapped and finished edges, so they don’t require a frame. As a result, you get a more contemporary look that makes a big statement in any room. Available in a variety of large sizes – 8x10, 16x16,16x20, 20x24, 24x30,30x30... and any variation in between!
Here is a picture of the canvas that I donated for the silent auction at the recent Outlook & District Tradeshow that was organized by the local Chamber of Commerce (It was a great event by the way!).
If you can't decide on which portrait to do as a large canvas, why not consider a canvas cluster with different shapes and sizes?
I've got canvas on the brain today... I've got my fingers crossed that my entire canvas supplies order will be in today so that I can get these new canvas orders finished! This product is in such demand with photographers and print shops that it is sometimes backordered. If you are considering placing a canvas order, just let me know in advance so that I can make sure that I have the sizes that you are looking for!
WOW that car photo is AMAZING!!!! One lucky person got to win that! Could you email a list of prices for those canvases. I'd like to get a family one!
ReplyDeleteShayne - did you know that Car pic is taken just north of Gull Lake? It's actually Carla O's parents' honeymoon car... didn't know it at the time!
