What more do you need? The perfect day, the perfect dress, oh and an amazing bride and groom. It's always a pleasure working with a bride who is a teacher. They are meticulously organized, have a love for lists, and often beat me to the punch when finalizing details for the day. To make an even better combination, the mother of the bride does some interior design work and had some great resources. It is evident that whoever made the final decisions on the style of the day had a great eye. From the shoes to the hall decorations, it was a first class event with a "WOW appeal".
The wedding was held in an amazingly beautiful church in Holdfast, Saskatchewan. This church was not only beautiful, but it is a very big part of the bride's family. Her ancestors helped to build the church and it is very monumental in that her great grandparent, grandparents and parents all were married there. This church reminds me a lot of the Catholic Church in Ponteix!
It was an honor to work with Jess Zoerb, a friend of mine and also the bride and groom, who helped shoot the ceremony as a wedding gift for the couple. I've had a sneak peek at some of her images, but can't wait to see them after she's finalized applying her magic to them. Check out her work at Ruby Blue Photography.
